 About Ashley

The people I work with didn't learn to hold everything together by accident. Those patterns
made sense once.

My job is to help them figure out which ones still do.

My practice is focused on high-functioning professionals in high-intensity careers — people
navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, or substance use, often quietly, while continuing to perform
at a high level. When your career depends on being the one others rely on, asking for help can
feel especially complicated. It's a reality I understand and one I don't take lightly.

Over the past 15 years, I've worked across nearly every level of mental health care, from
emergency rooms and inpatient psychiatry to residential treatment and outpatient therapy. That
experience reinforced something I believe deeply: there is no one-size-fits-all path to getting
well, and lasting change requires understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms.
I believe therapy should be practical. Insight matters — but if it doesn't change how you live

your life outside of our sessions, we've missed something.

My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in mutual respect. I'll ask hard questions,
challenge unhelpful patterns, and hold you accountable — but always with empathy and
compassion. You don't need to have everything figured out. You do need curiosity and a
willingness to try something different. In my experience, people who commit to that work create
meaningful change.

In addition to my clinical practice, I provide clinical supervision to LICSW candidates, consult
with nonprofit organizations, and speak to healthcare, law enforcement, and higher education
audiences on substance use and professional wellbeing. I earned my Master of Social Work
from Salem State University and a Healthcare Management Certificate from the University of
Georgia. I'm licensed as an independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts and New
Hampshire.

If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with honesty, compassion, and
practical guidance, I'd be honored to work with you.
